:: IF YOU’VE been accepted into university, you might be thinking in investing in a computer or tablet (or persuading mum and dad to get one for you). Apple products are rarely discounted but students and teachers can buy certain ones at up to 10 per cent off. What’s more, order an iPad or Mac by the end of Monday September 5 on the special site and you’ll also get a pair of Beats headphones worth between £117 and £225 free. The discounts are available to university students, their parents and educational establishment staff (not just teachers). Find out more and place your order at www.apple.com/uk/shop/browse/campaigns/education_pricing.

:: Asda's half-price any-time groceries delivery pass is back, at £30 for a year (£2.50 per month instead of the usual £5). The pass allows you as many deliveries as you wish each month with a minimum spend of £40 per order. Even peak-time slots don't cost extra. Find out more at www.asda.co.uk.

:: Xbox gaming fans can pick up a 12-month Live Gold membership card for £29.96 from www.maplin.co.uk. I’m told these physical cards seldom drop below £30. Search for item A36LZ on the site or use the quick link http://tinyurl.com/zvedtq8.

:: The rather fancy Oral-B Genius 9000 electric toothbrush's usual £280 RRP might have you bristling but it packs a little more polish at half price. Order it for £140 at www.boots.com or try www.amazon.co.uk which had matched that price at the time of going to print.

:: Need car insurance? Get in gear with a Churchill policy by the end of Monday September 5 and you’ll get a free £50 Amazon, House of Fraser, Argos or Ticketmaster gift card. You will need to follow the special link at www.moneysavingexpert.com/latesttip (search for the word ‘Churchill’ on that webpage). If you miss the deadline, try Co-op insurance which is giving £50 worth of Co-op food vouchers until November 18. Again, the link you need is on the MoneySavingExpert site.
