DANCE cardio, zero-waste cooking, sleep physiology, Viking conditioning and a Q&A between Fearne Cotton and Joe Wicks will all feature in what's being billed as Europe’s largest outdoor health and wellness festival in Dublin next month.

WellFest 2019 will feature 15 stages, more than 150 health and fitness experts, a vast array of talks, workshops, cookery demos and workouts and a dedicated schedule for children at the WellKids area.

Following his workout session with by thousands of festival-goers at last year's event, fitness expert The Body Coach Joe Wicks returns with his ‘Lean in 15 HIIT’ workout on the KBC main stage, while the 'Víkingaþrek’ Viking training method makes its Irish debut under the auspices of mixed martial arts coach John Kavanagh, who will host two demo-sessions.

Other big name speakers and trainers appearing over the course of the two days include former Australian pole vaulter-turned fitness and yoga expert Amanda Bisk, who will host a body-sculpt workout and take part in a Q&A; British fitness experts and personal trainers Alice Liveing, Faisal Abdalla and Bradley Simmonds; and former rugby player turned yogi Richie Norton AKA The Strength Temple.

Leading Irish skincare aficionado Jennifer Rock, also known as The Skin Nerd, will host a ‘skin school’ talk, while Gerry Hussey and The Mindfulness Centre have curated a weekend-long schedule featuring sessions on mindfulness and mindful communication.

New York zero-waste vegan chef and sustainability advocate Max La Manna, meanwhile, will give a cooking demo in the WellFood area on the tips, tricks and hacks to cooking for, and living, a more sustainable lifestyle.

“All stages at the festival this year feature highly qualified professionals and leading experts in various fields,” WellFest co-founder Fionnualla Cleary said.

“There is so much for attendees to go to, take part in and learn from over the course of the weekend. We try to make the festival as inclusive as we can – with classes for all levels, including beginner, advanced, pre and post-natal, and even the expanded kids’ area this year. We want to encourage people from all walks of life to enjoy a healthy, wholesome, fun weekend with family and friends.”
