A site manager from Tyrone-based firm Alskea has won a prestigious NHBC award for his stellar work at the Oakfield Park development in Newtownabbey.
Cathal Brannigan was named winner of the medium builder category at the Pride in the Job Supreme Awards in London.
Mr Brannigan was one of five winners in various categories from an entry pool of over 8,000 across the UK.
The awards recognise the UK’s best site managers who achieved the highest standards in house building and their commitment to building homes of outstanding quality.
Held at a prestigious ceremony in London Hilton on Park Lane, Mr Brannigan was the only winner from the north.
Now in its 43rd year, judging for the Pride in the Job Awards is rigorous, with each site manager assessed across six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise and health and safety.
