ERRIGAL Ciarán may not have been recognized for their impressive achievements this season with five inclusions in the Club Team of the Year.
Half of the front six hail from the Dunmoyle club in South Tyrone, including both Ruairí and Darragh Canavan.
The two sons of Tyrone and Errigal Ciarán legend Peter Canavan played a huge part in the Red Hand club’s Ulster success and run to the All-Ireland final.

Ulster final and All-Ireland semi-final hero Peter Óg McCartan made it in at the centre-half back position, producing some magnificent performances and popping up with two crucial scores for Errigal.
Joe Oguz rounds off the Errigal Ciarán inclusions in midfield with the Tyrone senior panel member impressing in the All-Ireland semi-final against Dr Crokes in Newbridge.
All-Ireland champions Cuala, unsurprisingly, got the most inclusions in the selection, pipping Errigal Ciarán with six players.
The Dublin side won their first county, provincial and national football championship titles, having twice been named All-Ireland club champions in hurling, with many of this successful squad also featuring in the club’s small-ball successes in 2017 and 2018.
Nine-time All-Ireland senior champion with Dublin Michael Fitzsimons was selected at full-back with Charlie McMorrow joining him at corner-back from the Dalkey club.
David O’Dowd features at left wing-back for the first-time Dublin, Leinster and All-Ireland football champions.

Errigal’s Joe Oguz is joined in the middle by Peadar Ó Cofaigh Byrne, who impressed throughout all three championships for the southeast Dublin side.
The O’Callaghan brothers, Niall and Dublin star forward Colm joined Darragh Canavan in the full-forward line to complete Cuala’s All-Star selects.
Kerry and Munster champions Dr Crokes have two players included in the team, with Brian Looney (left-wing back) and Micheál Burns (centre forward) shining for the Killarney side.
Sligo and Connacht champions Coolera-Strandhill are represented by goalkeeper Keelan Harte and right corner-back Seán Taylor as the Knocknahur side won their first Connacht Senior Football title and their second successive Sligo Football crown.
