BELFAST restaurant Shed Bistro has marked ten years in business.
Originally opened in 2013, the venue was taken over by husband-and-wife team Jonny and Christina Taylor in 2018.
The couple said an estimated 160,000 diners have enjoyed lunch and dinner since in the restaurant’s first decade.
The Ormeau Road venue doubled in size during 2020 following a £200,000 investment.
The enterprising pair have also published ‘Neighbourhood Cooking’ and in 2021 launched Blank on the Malone Road.
Michelin has named it among the city’s best restaurants.
"Shed Bistro was born on the Ormeau Road and as we celebrate our tenth birthday we’re proud of our role as the neighbourhood’s premier restaurant where people of all ages and backgrounds can come and enjoy some of Ireland’s best food in a relaxed but stylish environment,” said Christina.

Shed Bistro will host its birthday party on the Ormeau Road tonight (Friday 23 June), with drinks specials, live music and dancing from 8pm, and everyone is welcome.
