A Lisburn-based jewellery firm has been shortlisted for an industry event alongside the high profile firms including Beaverbrooks and Citizen.

Lustre and Love, set up by sisters Deborah McCann and Kirstie Reeve during lockdown, has been listed as one of the Emerging Jewellery/Watch Brands of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards.

Set up in 2021, Lustre & Love considers its niche as ‘luxury demi-fine jewellery’.

The business makes earrings, rings and necklaces.

Speaking about being shortlisted at the 31st UK Jewellery Awards, Deborah and Kirstie said: “We are beyond thrilled to be recognised as a finalist. What started as a vision at a young age to set up our own business together to launch it during lockdown, it is amazing to have our hard work, unique designs and creativity to be recognised by the judges.

"This finalist news co-sides with us securing a premium listing with La Maison Couture. Our jewellery will soon be available to purchase online there.”

La Maison Couture is an online jewellery store that promotes sustainable pieces.
