BELFAST-based IT services company Nimbus is creating 20 additional jobs after a period of significant growth.

Founded just 10 years ago, Nimbus has enjoyed a number of new contract wins recently which, added to its 100 per cent customer retention over the last three years, now sees it supporting customers in both local and international markets.

Recruitment is already under way at https://www.nimbuscs.com/careers/.

And while most of the new roles are primarily client facing, with opportunities including technical support, project management & consultancy, sales and account management, there are also opportunities within business support departments.

Nimbus is one of the north’s leading managed IT, cloud and cyber security companies, providing an award-winning level of service for clients.

The new roles will give staff the opportunity to work alongside some of the biggest names in the fintech, manufacturing and professional services sectors as well as carrying out large long-term project work in the Northern Ireland, Republic and British markets.

Nimbus’ founder and managing director Gareth McAlister said: “The recruitment market within the IT sector and indeed the wider tech arena remains challenging however our success in recruiting has been attributed to enabling our people help clients solve challenges but also to let them cut their teeth in a vast array of technology solutions across a diverse range of client sectors, all underpinned with a culture where we continually invest in our people.

“The growth we are experiencing is largely down to our response to the changing landscape of the pandemic and broadening our services portfolio by investing heavily in automation to drive confidence in cyber security, compliance, cloud adaptation and the ongoing maintenance of IT systems.

“We believe our customers deserve the best service and support in the market and by combining our investment into our technology and our strong vendor partnerships while augmenting this with Nimbus’s passion for growing and developing our people and skills, we have been recognised, through multiple awards, as an industry leader within the service sector.”

He added: “In a volatile marketplace, with significant cost pressures emerging, Nimbus continues to innovate and grow our client portfolio and we see these roles as a very important step in our continued growth for 2023 and wider company journey.”
