BATHROOM and tile supplier Bathshack is to create 25 jobs following the opening of a new 35,000 sq ft distribution centre in Antrim.

Now one of the largest bathroom suppliers on the island of Ireland, Bathshack operates a multi-channel sales business that includes e-commerce, telesales, trade sales and five showrooms in Ballymena, Belfast, Cork, Dublin, and Lisburn.

A new flagship store is due to open in the Boucher Road area, Belfast next month.

The company said the launch of the new Antrim distribution centre was in response to the growth in demand for its products.

“Our new hub has been optimised with high bay racking and narrow aisle pick trucks to maximise space and also utilises barcode scanning technology to maximise order picking efficiency and accuracy,” said the company

“It will also ensure the creation of 25 new jobs over the next two years in multiple roles varying from warehouse operatives, delivery drivers, team leaders and admin staff.

“We owe the success of our expansion to each of Bathshacks’ dedicated employees, and we place huge importance on allowing for a work-life balance so our employees can grow alongside the company.

“Family is central to our business and we look forward to welcoming new members to the Bathshack family with the opening of our new Antrim facility.”
