FAST-growing Northern Irish cosmetics brand BPerfect has announced plans to open four new stores across Britain and Ireland, creating 30 jobs.

The move follows the recent launch of new stores in Belfast and Derry. BPerfect, which was founded in 2012 by Brendan McDowell, said it has secured new exclusive partnerships with high profile US and UK brands Jeffree Star Cosmetics and PLouise.

It’s now planning to place a foothold in the GB market, with a new Glasgow store, due to open this weekend. That will be followed by a new Dublin store later this summer.

Two additional stores are also in the planning, with the locations yet to be disclosed.

The company, which now employs just over 80 people, has also recently launched new in-store counters at the Medical Hall in Newry and Shaws Department store in Limerick.

Brendan McDowell has also relocated the firm’s headquarters to a larger premises in Lisburn.

“The last couple of months have been a complete whirlwind,” he said.

“We have experienced such huge, steady growth in both our on and offline offerings which is something I am very grateful for.

“We have welcomed huge USA brand Jeffree Star Cosmetics and UK trendsetting beauty brand PLouise.

“To have both of these agree to partner with us in this exclusive partnership is just mind-blowing.”

Reflecting on "a crazy year with many ups and downs", the cosmetics entrepreneur said: "We are very much looking forward to a strong future for the brand. Nothing beats coming face-to-face with our customers and welcoming them to the new stores.”
