A NEW lifestyle concept store has opened its doors at Boucher Road in Belfast.

Jans Lifestyle sells a range of lifestyle items from camper vans and glamping pods, garden rooms to cinema rooms, firepits to home bars and a massive range of games room items, and central to the offer is a camper van rental operation.

The brainchild of Ronan Hamill, chief executive of Jans Holdings (www.janslifestyle.co.uk), the store has been developed in response to customer needs as a result of the ongoing pandemic.

He said: "There's been a dramatic lift in the number of people wanting leisure items that can be enjoyed in the sanctuary of their homes, that enhance the time that they spend at home or that provide exciting opportunities for staycations.

"Jans Lifestyle essentially offers a one-stop shop for these people. From garden rooms which allow people to maximise space, essentially giving them an extra room to work or to play, to camper vans which allow people to holiday safely at home, to cinema rooms and electric bikes which enhance leisure time to saunas, hot tubs, firepits and hammocks allowing them to make their homes and gardens more relaxing spaces."

Managing director Andrew Penny added: "From the footfall we have experienced since opening there is strong demand for this type of store. Our camper van rental business is particularly strong which is indicative of the high number of people who plan to staycation instead of heading abroad."
