NEWLY-created hospitality group The Warren Collection is preparing to open a luxury boutique hotel in a converted Victorian townhouse on Belfast's Malone Road.

It has renovated the historic ‘Number 11’ building opposite Queen’s University computer science building to include 12 bedrooms with contemporary en-suite shower room, bright lounge area and self- service tea room.

It is the first investment in Belfast for The Warren Collection which has already outlined ambitious plans to open six more locations in the next 12 months including another in Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh and Dubai.

Co-founder Mark Docherty said “The Number 11 is the perfect starting point in our journey. Despite the challenges global tourism is going through due to the pandemic, Belfast is, and will continue to be, a great destination for both domestic and international tourists.

“The new hotel is sure to be a favoured choice for business travellers, academics visiting the Queen’s campus just across the street as well as staycationers.”

Fellow co-founder David Warren added “This first hotel in my home town of Belfast will create something a little bit different and unique while maintaining a great customer experience and a superb quality product. We look forward to announcing several more properties and creating more jobs in the months ahead.”
