BIG data firm AquaQ Analytics has announced a strategic partnership with fellow Belfast firm Kinsetsu

The partnership between the analytics company and the intelligent tracking solutions firm will result in an enhanced offering to both public and private sector organisations globally.

The move comes eight months after AquaQ announced an £8.3 million expansion to create another 123 jobs in Belfast.

It said client needs around real time data capture and analytics continues to grow, as data becomes increasingly central to real time decision making.

Based next to Belfast City Airport, Kinsetsu primarily works with healthcare, defence & security, energy and government organisations.

AquaQ said the combined approach with the Belfast disruptor will enable clients to capture and analyse data more effectively.

"Combining our expertise with that of Kinsetsu’s will allow us to enhance 'best-of-breed' solutions to the public and private sectors globally,” said AquaQ business development director, Ivy McFarlane.

“Their domain expertise in intelligent tracking is industry topping. We have complementary skillsets across our two companies that we hope to benefit from.”

Kinsetsu’s chief executive, Joanne O’Doherty said: “Combining our enterprise IoT (internet of things) skills and experience with AquaQ’s domain knowledge in analytics has the power to transform outcomes for clients in multiple verticals.”
