THE owner of long-established estate agency and advisory firm O’Hanlon Property says Brexit has presented "a major opportunity" for cross-border businesses.

And Shane O'Hanlon adds: "The uncertainty for the future has led a number of companies to get in touch regarding their requirement to have a base on both sides of the border."

O'Hanlon Property, with offices at Fitzwilliam Square in Dublin and in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan, says it continues to be contacted by companies in Northern Ireland who need to retain an EU base post-Brexit and are in the process of taking office, industrial/manufacturing and warehousing space.

"Brexit will affect firms on both sides of the border, but taking the appropriate action can help businesses prepare for the challenges and opportunities that will arise," Mr O'Hanlon added.

The company currently has a variety of office space with high speed broadband available for rent and ranging in size from 250 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft.

There are a number of high quality business parks being developed in County Monaghan, offering sites for logistics and manufacturing, and with access to the M1 within 20 minutes.

O'Hanlon (www.ohanlonproperty.ie) also has a 50,000 sq ft industrial building for sale, suitable for manufacturing or distribution.

Specialising in the sale, acquisition and letting of residential, commercial and agricultural properties, O'Hanlon also offers a comprehensive valuation service.

Managing director Shane O’Hanlon has many years experience in the property market, having worked with CBRE in Dublin and in London before setting up his own business.
