A LISBURN-based IT solutions provider is recruiting 22 new staff in its 50th year of operations.

Xperience Group has grown its workforce by over a quarter (27 per cent) in the past year, while turnover has grown by almost a third (32 per cent) in 12 months as it continues to go from strength to strength.

The recruitment drive is a direct response to increasing market demand, with Xperience reporting an additional £1.5m in new customer sales since the beginning of the year.

A total of 10 new staff are already in place with a further 12 positions open, which include a mix of graduate and engineering roles. Once complete it will bring the group's total national head count to 111.

Iain O'Kane, managing director of Xperience Group said it is an exciting time for the business.

"We have high expectations over the next five years from both organic and acquisitive growth and we are delighted about our plans for adding additional staff," he said.

“Since starting fifty years ago in Northern Ireland, we have seen a continuous uptake in technology adoption, including a 30 per cent increase in cloud adoption since 2015. Every day we see how our clients, across a wide range of industries, benefit from implementing cloud-based technology and IT solutions. We look forward to further educating the business community on how we can make cloud computing simple.”
