DUNMURRY-based specialist window ventilation systems firm Brookvent has shipped the first order of its new energy-saving Aircycle 1.3 product to London for a new multi-million pound apartment complex.

The product's intelligent design allows for high performance ventilation and 92 per cent heat recovery efficiency, which properties require to negate the effects of condensation on a person’s health.

“This particular product represents the sixth generation of this technology type in our history and is testament to the engineering talent present within the company," Brookvent's sales & marketing director Dane Duffy said.

"Its high efficiency core and versatile mounting options have already seen it attract major interest with contractors across the UK as well as our distributors in New Zealand, Hungary and beyond.”

As well as being headquartered in the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area, from where it exports across the world, Brookvent has a base in Poland and distributorships in Hungary, the Baltics and Russia.

As part of its 'Made in Lisburn Castlereagh' business engagement visits and wider investment programme, council representatives visited their premises to view the new product.

Alderman William Leathem, who chairs the Council’s development committee, said: “This latest product by Brookvent once again demonstrates its experience in design, manufacture and supply of leading ventilation products that offer a customisable solution to residential properties."
