The north's first indoor adventure golf course is due to tee off in Belfast later this year.

The £1.4 million Lost City Adventure Golf will open at City Side Retail and Leisure Park in December and initially employ 12 full and part-time staff.

The tropical rainforest themed leisure attraction is being developed by Lane Scott and Barry Hobson and will house two 18-hole indoor adventure golf courses, complete with interactive obstacles and special effects.

Belfast will be the second location in the UK for The Lost City Adventure Golf, following on from its successful flagship venue in Nottingham.

Mr Scott said:

"This is Northern Ireland’s first indoor adventure golf experience, offering an all-weather leisure destination for people of all ages and abilities.

“Like in Nottingham, we are creating a fun, vibrant, feel-good activity that appeals to a wide audience – from couples to students, businesses, groups and families.”

The build is now underway at the City Side site and the attraction is set to open in December.
