1. When did you think about a career in comedy and what were your first steps into it?
People always said I had a natural gift: Clairvoyancy, but the market here was saturated so I had to find something else, so I gave stand-up a go.
2. Best gigs you’ve been to?
Snow Patrol: Ward Park. Snow Patrol: Ward Park 2. Snow Patrol: Ward Park 3.
3. Fantasy wedding/birthday party band?
I’d make a super Boy Band. Lee Ryan. Brian Harvey, AJ McLean, Keith Duffy and Mark Feehily from Westlife. Failing that: Snow Patrol.
4. The record you’d take to a desert island?
This is a hard one depending on why I’m on the island… If I’m stranded i’d go for Bob Marley- Legend because I would be up to high doh and Bobby keeps me chilled. If I’m there on purpose for a holiday I’m taking Snow Patrol: Live from Ward Park.
5. And the book you’d take to a desert island?
Bear Grylls- How to stay alive because I would like to get off the desert island back home again in case Snow Patrol do Ward Park 4.

6. Top three films?
Inception, The Great Escape and Pumping Iron. One looks at the complexity of the human mind, one about human determination and one about the perfection of human physiques. Jacked, oiled and tanned physiques.
7. Worst film you’ve seen?
A Belfast Story. I wanted it to be good, but it was terrible. Even a heavyweight performance from my 'brother from another mother’ Tim McGarry couldn’t save it.
8. Favourite authors?
Tom Smyth, JK Rowling and Robert Galbraith.
9. Sport(s) you most enjoy and top team(s)?
I’m a big Arsenal fan (for my sins) and I follow boxing and golf too. But my favourite sport is professional wrestling.
10. Ideal holiday destination?
Lanzarote, but without my wife and kids. They expect too much from me. If I was by myself I could hang out with all the old folk who go to Lanzarote and play checkers and drink sherry.
11. Pet hates?
I’m a grumpy da, so this could take a while… If I’m narrowing it down I’d say eating noises, sea swimmers, mullets and cyclists.
12. What’s your favourite:
Dinner? An all-day breakfast.
Dessert? Banoffee.
Drink? A pint of Guinness from Fealty’s in Bangor.
13. Who is your best friend and how do you know each other?
Comedian and actress Diona Doherty is my best friend.
14. Is there a God?
If you believe there is and it makes your life better then yes.
