The Lightning Seeds: new 'greatest hits' album and Irish dates on the way

THE Lightning Seeds have announced a new greatest hits album,Tomorrow’s Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds, and a 17-date 35th anniversary tour for next year - including a pair of Irish shows.

The new 20-track compilation will be released on October 4 2024 and features all the best-known hits from the Ian Broudie-led band, including Pure, The Life Of Riley, Change, Lucky You, Sense, All I Want, Sugar Coated Iceberg, You Showed Me, Emily Smiles and 3 Lions.

The Lightning Seeds' 35th Anniversary tour will then kick-off on November 8 in Sheffield, visiting Dublin and Belfast on November 30 and December 1 respectively en route to finishing on December 14 in Wolverhampton.

Ian Broudie says: “Wow, I can't believe it's been 35 years! Our first single Pure really opened the door to a life's worth of songs, shows and recordings.

"I owe everything to Pure and I'm really looking forward to celebrating the 35th anniversary of its release with Tomorrow's Here Today: 35 Years of Lightning Seeds greatest hits album and tour in 2024."
