Niall Horan adds huge summer Dublin date to tour

NIALL Horan has just announced a new Dublin date as part of his extended, descriptively titled 2024 tour The Show - Live On Tour 2024.

The Mullingar-born former One Directioner, who is set to perform at the Electric Picnic festival this evening, will play Royal Hospital Kilmainham on Friday August 23 next year. Tickets priced from €69.90 will go on sale at 10am on Friday September 8 via ticketmaster.ie, preceded by artist and O2 presales at 10am on September 6 and venue presales at 10am on September 7.

Due to kick-off in Belfast at the SSE Arena on February 21 prior to a trio of already sold-out dates at Dublin's 3Arena from February 23 to 25, The Show - Live On Tour 2024 is Horan's biggest tour to date and his first headline run since 2018’s Flicker World Tour.

He will be performing songs from all three of his solo albums, including recent chart-topper, The Show.

The six new dates announced today are:

  • August 23 2024 - Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin
  • August 27 2024 – Co-Op Live, Manchester
  • August 28 2024 - First Direct Arena, Leeds
  • August 30 2024 - Utilita Arena, Newcastle
  • August 31 2024 - P&J Live, Aberdeen
  • September 3 2024 - O2 Arena, London

Other already sold-out dates on the tour include Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester and a show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley.

Niall says: “My favourite thing in the world is being on tour. Performing my songs for my fans and sharing those incredible moments together are the reason why I write music in the first place. This is going to be my best tour yet and I cannot wait to see all you ‘lovers’ on the road in 2024.

"There’s nothing better than watching the crowd sing back to you with all that emotion on their faces and knowing that they’re attaching the song to something meaningful in their own lives. To me, that’s always the greatest thing that can ever come from songwriting.”
