CHART-conquering Suffolk strummer Ed Sheeran has just announced that he will return to Ireland for two dates at Dublin's 3Arena this April. The ginger wonder's latest tour will kick-off in Italy on March 17, with the two-night stand in Dublin marking his first Irish shows since his pair of sold-out dates at Croke Park in 2015.
While the bazillion-selling singer-songwriter recently confirmed that he intends to play in Belfast this year, no dates have been announced yet.
Sheeran's 2017 is already off to a good start with his singles Shape Of You and Castle On The Hill hitting the number one and two spots around the world – and it's probably only going to get better.
His hugely anticipated third album ÷ (or Divide) featuring collaborations with Irish prog tradsters Beoga and US guitar man John Mayer will be released on March 3 and Sheeran is also hotly tipped to be a headliner at Glastonbury 2017.
:: Tickets go on sale at 10am on Thursday February 2 via Ticketmaster outlets.
