EAGLES man Don Henley has announced a pair of Irish solo dates this summer in support of his current album Cass County.
The shows at Cork's Live at The Marquee on June 29 and the 3Arena in Dublin on July 1 will be the Eagles drummer and solo artist's first gigs here in almost 20 years.
The news comes just a couple of months after the death of his Eagles bandmate Glenn Frey marked the end of the road for the world-beating Californian rock outfit they founded in 1971.
However, the group's mighty songbook will live on: Henley is promising to play lots of Eagles favourites alongside solo material from his new record and hits from years gone by, including pop smash Boys of Summer and press-baiting funky rocker Dirty Laundry.
