Family fun at the MAC’s Christmas lights switch on

The cast of the MAC’s Christmas show ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker’ were joined by Santa to help families light up the MAC’s Christmas season.

From free activities, including face painting, close-up magicians, balloon modelers and candyfloss, families got to see a short performance from the cast and enjoy the beautiful singing from Saint Anne’s Cathedral choir at the MAC theatre venue in central Belfast..

This year’s Christmas show at the MAC is a co-production with Cahoots NI.

Based on the much-loved story by the Brothers Grimm, The Elves and The Shoemaker is the uplifting story of a kind-hearted tradesman who has fallen on hard times and is assisted by a mischievous band of nocturnal fairy folk.

Suitable for all ages, audiences will need to keep their eyes peeled for some of the fairyland’s best-known characters who just might pop up to make it Belfast’s funniest, festive family show.

The show will run from Tuesday November 27 until Saturday January 6, tickets available at themaclive.com
