THE award-winning Ulster Operatic Company is getting ready to stage its production of Monty Python's riotous Broadway and West End hit Spamalot at Belfast’s Grand Opera House.
Northern Ireland's oldest amateur musical society will get their teeth into Spamalot from October 10 to October 14.
Written by Eric Idle and "lovingly ripped-off" from the Pythons' cult movie Monty Python & The Holy Grail, Spamalot is a riotous comedy full of misfit knights, killer rabbits, beautiful showgirls and ferocious Frenchmen.
Featuring songs including Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life, The Song that Goes Like This and Knights of The Round Table, audiences are invited to join King Arthur as he gathers his Knights of The Round Table.
This band of hapless adventurers is then tasked with a divine mission to locate the elusive Holy Grail – with uproarious consequences.
