1. When did you think about acting as a career and what were your first steps into it?

My school did theatre studies and made me realise I wanted a career in performing. I left school at 16 to go to Belfast Met to study performing arts and the rest is history.

2. Best gigs you've been to?

Adele, whom I absolutely love; Lionel Ritchie, who was outstanding and of course Westlife, lol.

3. Fantasy wedding/birthday party band?

Adele or Westlife with a mix of Ed Sheeran and Calvin Harris.

4. The record you'd take to a desert island?

Sweet Caroline as it reminds me of my family and friends because they sing it to me every birthday.

5. And the book?

The Mrs Brown Trilogy by Brendan O'Carroll.

6. Top three films?

The Usual Suspects, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Aladdin.

7. Worst film you’ve seen?

The re-make of Willy Wonka. I love Johnny Depp but there's only one Willy Wonka – Gene Wilder.

8. Favourite authors?

Harlan Coben, Martina Cole and Tess Gerritsen.

9. Sport you most enjoy and top team?

Football and my favourite team is Manchester United. I grew up with two brothers, so football and cars are a big hobby of mine.

10. Ideal holiday destination?

Somewhere with a white sandy beach and clear blue waters would do me.

11. Pet hate?

Negative people.

12. What’s your favourite:

Starter? Seafood.

Dinner? Steak.

Drink? A wee wine.

13. Who is your best friend and how do you know each other?

Claire Murphy. We have been best friends for 27 years since primary school.

14. Is there a God?

I believe there is a heaven where we go and do what we love all day long.
