1. When did you think about acting as a career and what were your first steps into it?

I’ve been involved in acting since I was young. My granddad is a singer and actor and I remember going to watch him in shows and seeing him on TV. I took part in school shows and drama and was in The Rainbow Factory School of Performing Arts. I’m delighted to be involved in The Belfast Tempest – it will be my most high-profile role to date and I’m very excited.

2. Best gigs you've been to?

Any Snow Patrol gig I’ve been to, Kings of Leon at Marlay Park in Dublin in 2014 (supported by Kodaline) and the MTV EMA awards at the Odyssey in Belfast in 2012.

3. The record you'd take to a desert island?

As cheesy as it sounds, I’d take a Westlife compilation. They have a song for everything and every emotion.

4. And the book?

Any Ellen DeGeneres book.

5. Top three films?

Misery (with Kathy Bates), Hocus Pocus (with Bette Midler) and Breakfast at Tiffany’s (with Audrey Hepburn).

6. Worst film you've seen?

Elf.

7. Favourite authors?

JK Rowling, Charles Dickens and Harlan Coben.

8. Sports you most enjoy and top teams?

My dad is a triathlete, so I enjoy swimming and running. I went to Florida last summer and went to my first MLS game and I must say I’ve become a fan of Orlando City.

9. Ideal holiday destination?

Australia. I have family there so it’s my dream to visit after university.

10. What's your favourite:

Dinner? Anything Italian.

Dessert? Peanut butter chocolate brownie (in chocolate sauce).

Drink? Orange Lucozade or a gin and tonic.

11. Who is your best friend?

I’m very lucky to have a handful of best friends who have been involved in all aspects of my life and supported me all the way, including Holly Corscadden, Aaron Cathcart and Lauren McGarry. Without them, my life wouldn’t be what it is today. They each inspire me daily and encourage me to do my best.

12. Is there a God?

I believe there is.

Debra Hill will play Miranda in The Belfast Tempest, which runs at T13 in the Titanic Quarter from April 20 to 23 (see www.terranovaproductions.net/belfast-tempest/ and www.crescentarts.org)
