LATER TODAY the winner of the Turner Prize 2015, a prestigious contemporary art award presented by Tate, will be announced, meaning that we are almost ready to announce the winner of the Turnip Prize.
Oh, you haven’t heard of the Turnip Prize? Well, let me enlighten you, oh-ill-educated-one.
Conceived over beers in a Somerset village in 1999, the Turnip Prize honours “crap” art for being “crap”. Credit is given to entries for containing bad puns as titles and displaying a lack of effort. However, entries showing too much effort or talent are immediately disqualified.
Shall we take a look at the six in the running for this year’s award?
1. Danger Mouse by P. Enfold

Artist unknown. Probably trying to keep their identity under wraps, much like Banksy.
