ROBERT Rodriguez's TV adaptation of his hit 1996 action-horror romp is back on Netflix this week for its second series.
Having blasted their way out of The Titty Twister's hellish strip joint / snake-vamp monster pit, bank robbing bros Seth and Richie Gecko (DJ Cotrona and Zane Holtz) are back on the run – separately.
Freshly-bitten Ritchie has high-tailed it north with his slithery squeeze Satanico, while junk-addled Seth is laying low in Mexico with orphaned hostage-turned-accomplice Kate (Madison Davenport).
Freed from her Siren-esque shackles at the Twister, Satanico is intent on taking down The Nine Lords, a cartel of vamp elders who've been feasting on humans for hundreds of years with the help of poor Mexican slaves.
However, lead Lord Malvado (Esai Morales) is determined to put Satanico back on the pole – with a little help from his main undead muscle, Regulator (Danny Trejo).
Stylish, campy/vampy fun.
