Christmas Day 2021 brought with it an extra special gift for some parents around Northern Ireland with the arrival of a number of festive babies.
In Belfast, Kaitlin McElkerney and Reece McGinley, from the west of the city, welcomed baby Nainsi, who arrived weighing 7lbs 14oz, at 4.40am at the Royal Victoria Hospital.
A short time later, also at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Sophie Brown, from Lisburn gave birth to a daughter, weighing 8lbs 13.45oz, at 5.32am.
At 8.54am, Michelle and Robert Niblock, from Magherafelt, welcomed baby Nathan, who weighed 8lbs 1oz.
Elsewhere, in Co Armagh, Amelia Kwidzinska-Wawryniuk was born to proud parents, Monika and Przemek, from Dungannon, at Craigavon Area Hospital.
The little girl, who weighed 6lbs 7oz, arrived at 12.30pm on Christmas Day.
Posting on Twitter, the Southern Trust said Amelia's arrival was "the best gift they could receive".
In the Western Trust, parents Karen and Mathew welcomed baby boy Loughrey at 7.04am at Altnagelvin Hospital. The baby boy, who was delivered by Amy McAleavey, weighed 7lbs 4oz.
He was followed by baby Rua Sherrin, who arrived at 11.47am weighing 8lbs 15oz.
At the South West Acute Hospital, baby boy Melarkey was born at 4.35am weighing 6lbs 14oz. He was delivered by Practice Development Midwife, Aoibheann Laird.
He was followed by baby girl McCaffrey at 5.50am and then baby boy Landers born, who was born at 12.33pm weighing 4lbs 14oz.
