DERRY internet star and Blue Peter presenter Adam B (Beales) has shocked his mother by buying her her favourite car to go with the house he gifted his family last year.
The former St Columb's College head boy is one of the top YouTubers with more than 3 million subscribers regularly watching his pranks with mum Edelle, dad Paul and younger brother Callum.
In January, Beales played a joke on his mother by presenting her with a new Tesla car.
However, feeling guilty about the prank, he decided to go for the real thing this week when he handed over the keys of a Mercedes.
Her reaction didn’t disappoint as she screamed: OMG, OMG, OMG. I actually can’t believe it. Is it really mine? Naw, you’re joking me. I don’t believe you.”
Beales said it was a “very special moment”.
“I wanted to do it because the first time around I pranked her with a Tesla. But in reality, I just hired it for a day. It was the harshest prank I have ever done on her. I felt so bad so I knew it was only fair to get her her dream car which is a Mercedes.”
