Man arrested over Derry shooting freed

A 42-YEAR-OLD man arrested under the Terrorism Act by detectives investigating a paramilitary-style shooting in Derry has been released unconditionally.

The 35-year-old victim was shot in the Creggan area of the city at around 6pm on Friday.

The shooting happened at shops near shops in the Central Drive area.

The man was arrested in the city on Saturday morning and released later that day.
