A 19-YEAR-OLD man was being questioned last night about a paramilitary-style shooting in a bookmaker's shop in Derry last month.

A 23-year-old man was shot in the leg at Central Drive in the Creggan area on March 27.

The man was arrested in Meenan Square in Derry yesterday. He was taken to the PSNI's serious crime suite in Musgrave police station in Belfast for questioning.

Police have appealed for information about the shooting.
