THE family of a Co Fermanagh woman whose death has prompted a murder probe have fondly described her as a "beautiful, vibrant daughter, sister, aunt and friend".

Pauline Kilkenny (59) was found dead at her home on Cornacully Road between Belcoo and Garrison by her sister on Tuesday afternoon.

Her body was discovered after concerns had been raised when she did not turn up at her work at a service station near Enniskillen.

The contents of the victim's handbag and her car had also been removed from the property.

A 26-year-old woman and 28-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of murder and yesterday remained in police custody.

The 28-year-old man was also held on suspicion of possession of cannabis and theft of a motor vehicle.

Ms Kilkenny's family asked for privacy while they finalise funeral arrangements and "as we come to terms with the devastating loss of our beautiful, vibrant daughter, sister, aunt and friend".

In a statement released by the PSNI, they also thanked the community for their "love, support and continued co-operation with the police".

"Our time will be spent remembering Pauline for the incredible personality she was and feeling so grateful to have lived her life with her," they said.

"We would like to thank the community for their love, support and continued co-operation with the police and their ongoing investigation."

Ms Kilkenny had been working for the last two years at Lilley's Centra on Shore Road.

Una Lilley, Ms Kilkenny's employer, paid tribute to her as "committed, hardworking, honest, reliable, and always the first person to volunteer if you needed extra help".
