A 28-YEAR-OLD man accused of murdering of Pauline Kilkenny at her remote home in Co Fermanagh last year has been returned for trial.

Joseph Dolan, who has been in custody since his arrest, appeared at Enniskillen Magistrates Court accused of murdering Ms Kilkenny (59) at some time between November 6 and 14 2018.

The accused, of no fixed abode, is further accused of stealing her car and perverting the course of justice by falsely implicating another person in the murder.

A prosecution lawyer told the court there is a case to answer which was agreed by the judge.

Dolan was remanded in continuing custody to appear for arraignment at Dungannon Crown Court on May 7.
