Man (33) due in court over possession of cocaine after seizure in Belfast

A 33-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with crimes including possession of cocaine following a seizure in Co Antrim in June.

The man was arrested in west Belfast on Tuesday.

He was later charged with possession of a class A drug with intent to supply, possession of a gun and ammunition in suspicious circumstances and possession of a prohibited weapon.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

The charges come after a kilo of cocaine, a gun, a stun gun and cash were seized from a house in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim, on June 22 and 23.
