A 36-year-old man has been arrested in Co Antrim after police seized suspected counterfeit items estimated to represent a £130,000 loss of value to brands.

The man was detained in the Glenavy area on Sunday morning on suspicion of being concerned in the sale of suspected counterfeit goods.

More than 1,000 items of clothing, footwear and electronic equipment were seized.

A PSNI spokesperson urged anyone with information on suspected counterfeit goods to contact them on 101.
