A Co Antrim sweet manufacturer awarded a multi-million pound PPE contract is expected to make its final delivery of gowns next week.

Six million gowns are due to be delivered to complete two huge PPE contracts signed by the UK Department of Health with a Co Antrim sweet company - significantly more than was previously thought.

LEGAL proceedings have been started against the UK government over the awarding of £108 million PPE contracts to a Co Antrim sweet wholesaler "seemingly without advertising or competitive tendering process".
