Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis could be tempted to dust off his notepad and write another letter to the authorities after his side’s 1-0 defeat to Coventry.
Forest were beaten by Jay DaSilva’s second-half strike at the City Ground, but they had a goal ruled out by VAR for the second home match in a row.
The Greek businessman, who was not at the City Ground on Saturday, has a history of not taking decisions that go against his side well and his club has written to the referee’s chief Howard Webb several times over the last few seasons after a raft of decisions have gone against his side.

And they have fallen foul of two decisions already this season that would have angered him.
They had a goal controversially ruled out against Tottenham two weeks ago when VAR Peter Bankes dissected footage of Neco Williams’ effort and eventually ruled a handball, despite it not being clear and obvious.
Then on Saturday Igor Jesus’ goal was ruled out after referee Jarred Gillett was sent to the screen by VAR and decided the striker had clipped the feet of Caleb Yirenkyi, despite his original on-field decision being a goal.
