SATURDAY

LEINSTER SHC ROUND TWO

Dublin v Westmeath (Parnell Park, 6pm)

Dublin drew with Antrim on the opening day and will be eyeing up a win against Westmeath. The Dubs not only have home advantage but are well down the road of development.

Westmeath had a tough day last weekend, losing out to reigning champions Kilkenny, 0-29 to 0-7, but may take heart from the fact that they kept a clean sheet against the Cats.

Odds H: 1/33 D: 25/1 A: 12/1

Verdict Dublin

Wexford v Antrim (Chadwicks Wexford Park, 6pm)

Odds H: 1/4 D: 10/1 A: 4/1

Verdict Wexford

MUNSTER SHC ROUND TWO

Limerick v Clare (TUS Gaelic Grounds, 7pm, live on GAAGO)

Limerick just about squeezed through a tough opening-day battle with Waterford by two points, while Clare were five-point losers against Tipperary. While Limerick were made to work for their victory, they led for the majority of the game and will once again head into this game as huge favourites to pick up a second win on the trot.

Odds H: 1/5 D: 12/1 A: 9/2

Verdict Limerick

CHRISTY RING CUP ROUND THREE

Derry v Meath (Owenbeg, 2pm)

Derry picked up their first win of the Christy Ring Cup as they saw off Sligo last weekend. Cormac O’Doherty (pictured above) hit two, while James Friel and John Mullan also rattled the net as the Oak Leaf county won 4-27 to 2-13. Meath will look to tighten up defensively, having conceded four goals in their 4-17 to 1-24 loss to London.

Odds H: 1/1 D: 8/1 A: 1/1

Verdict Derry

NICKEY RACKARD CUP ROUND THREE

Armagh v Wicklow (the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds, 3pm)

ARMAGH will be aiming to bounce back from their first defeat of the campaign when they host Wicklow. The Orchard county suffered a 10-point loss to Donegal last week, while Wicklow are currently top of the table following wins over Louth and Fermanagh.

Odds H: 5/2 D: 10/1 A: 1/3

Verdict Armagh

LORY MEAGHER CUP ROUND THREE

Cavan v Lancashire (Kingspan Breffni, 1pm)

CAVAN host Lancashire full of confidence after their three-point win over Monaghan. Lancashire were the only side to defeat the Breffni Blues in the League, so Cavan will be under no illusions of the task they have ahead of them.

Odds H: 1/1 D: 8/1 A: 10/11

Verdict Cavan

SUNDAY

LEINSTER SHC ROUND TWO

Kilkenny v Galway (UPMC Nowlan Park, 2pm, live on RTE2)

BOTH sides won their opening ties and Kilkenny will be expecting a much tougher test this weekend. They saw off Westmeath with ease last weekend, while Galway had to battle for their six-point win over Wexford. It’s a repeat of last year’s decider, which Kilkenny won, and they’ll be eyeing up another victory over the Tribesmen.

Odds H: 10/11 D: 8/1 A: 6/5

Verdict Kilkenny

MUNSTER SHC ROUND TWO

Cork v Waterford (Parc Ui Chaoimh, 4pm, live on RTE2)

CORK will want to begin their provincial charge with a bang as they had a bye in the opening weekend of fixtures. They face a Waterford side that ran All-Ireland champions Limerick close last weekend, but the Rebels may just have enough on this occasion and home advantage could see them through.

Odds H: 4/7 D: 9/1 A: 9/5

Verdict Cork

CHRISTY RING CUP ROUND THREE

Mayo v London (Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, 12.30pm)

MAYO need a win after back-to-back defeats, but London showed last week they’re a quality side and will be hoping to produce the goods.

Odds H: 4/5 D: 8/1 A: 6/5

Verdict London

Tyrone v Sligo (Carrickmore, 2pm)

Odds H: 2/7 D: 10/1 A: 3/1

Verdict Tyrone

NICKEY RACKARD CUP ROUND THREE

Roscommon v Donegal (Athleague, 2pm)

GOALS from Liam McKinney, Gerry Gilmore and Conor Gartland saw Donegal past Armagh last weekend with 10 points to spare, and although they’re on the road, they should have too much for Roscommon.

Odds H: 2/1 D: 9/1 A: 4/9

Verdict Donegal

Louth v Fermanagh (Darver, 2pm)

NEITHER side has picked up a win in the competition yet, but Fermanagh’s results have been a little more convincing, giving them the edge here.

Odds H: 11/10 D: 8/1 A: 10/11

Verdict Fermanagh

LORY MEAGHER CUP ROUND THREE

Monaghan v Warwickshire (Cloghan, 1pm)

THE Farney men have a chance to get back on track against Warwickshire after their three-point loss to neighbours Cavan last weekend. Warwickshire, who beat Cavan before losing to Longford, certainly won’t be easy.

Odds H: 2/9 D: 11/1 A: 10/3

Verdict Monaghan

Leitrim v Longford (Drumshanbo, 2pm)

LEITRIM are bottom of the table with just one point from two games but could get their first win of the campaign here.

Odds H: 8/13 D: 8/1 A: 6/4

Verdict Leitrim
