A young boy from County Antrim is hoping to take the golf world by storm - and he's only two-years-old.

Sevie Trowlen from Glenavy has attracted hundreds of views on his Facebook and Youtube pages as golf fans admire the toddler's skills.

His father Sean told UTV: “We watched the Ryder Cup in 2012 and the Europe team were paying tribute to Seve who had died the year previous. We absolutely fell in love with name, so that’s what we named our son. We had to spell it S-E-V-I-E as people here couldn’t get the pronunciation.

“He had a golf club in his hand before he could even walk. He’s made quite an impression at the Northern Irish Open this week.”

The Trowlen family have installed a putting green in their back garden, and regularly upload videos of their son playing golf to social media channels.

Sevie practices at Colin Park golf course where he is a regular at the driving range.
