All roads now lead to the black tie club gala night in Armagh City Hotel on Saturday, October 31. Along the way we have lots of tickets to sell and fundraising events to deliver. The night will have some special guest speakers, with music by Kingpin. Tickets are £100 or £1,000 per table, strictly no U16s. DRUMRAGH SARSFIELD’S: Membership is now due - £30 for adults, £10 for youth. Youth registration day will take place at Clanabogan on Saturday, February 22 from 10am-12pm.
The annual dinner dance will be held on Saturday, February 15. Tickets cost £20 for adults, £12.50 for youth, and are available from committee members.
ST MALACHY’S, CASTLEDAWSON: The club held its annual celebration and presentation night in the Thatch Inn last Saturday. Philip Bradley received the Seamus Keenan perpetual trophy for clubman of the year, Conor Taggart received the Adrian Heaney trophy for senior player of the year and Fergal Gribbin the reserve.
In the camogie awards, Megan Kearns was presented with the clubperson and Frances Connery the senior player of the year by club chairperson Frances Craig. Congratulations to all the winners.
ST ERGNAT’S, MONEYGLASS: There will be a six week Mindfulness for Kids course, for ages 7-11, starting on Monday, February 10. Contact 07801 032270 for further details.
Hurling and camogie training takes place on Saturday mornings in Moneyglass hall: U10, U12, U14 – 10-11am; Preschool to U8 - 11-12am, U16 camogs 12-1pm.
BALLYMARTIN: The memories night takes place in the Ballymartin Inn on Friday, February 21. There will be a big raffle on the night, as well as a chance to sift through old photos and stories from the club’s almost 100 year history. Light supper will be available on the night, music from Tony Donnan. Donations at the door, everyone welcome.
Yoga classes for all levels begin at St Columban’s Hall on March 4 for six weeks, at a cost of £20. Class starts at 7.30pm. Places need to be booked with limited spaces available. Contact cultural officer Sinead on 07793 085281.
