Ulster Intermediate Hurling Championship quarter-finals (ET if necessary)

Na Magha (Derry) v Eoghan Rua (Tyrone) Tomorrow, 3.30pm, Owenbeg

EOGHAN Ruadh defeated Eire Og 0-14 to 1-5 in the Tyrone Intermediate Hurling Championship final on August 17 to reach this Ulster quarter-final. Full-forward Damian Casey hit 0-9 as they retained the Benburb Cup with a comfortable victory over Eire Og of Carrickmore in Healy Park. Their opposition tomorrow, Na Magha, have stepped up to intermediate level after reaching last year's Ulster Junior Hurling Championship final, where they were beat by Bredagh of Down by 14 points.

Burt (Donegal) v Clooney Gaels (Antrim) Tomorrow, 3.30pm, Letterkenny

BURT won their third Donegal Hurling Championship title in-a-row with a 3-13 to 2-14 victory over arch-rivals Setanta in O'Donnell Park three weeks ago. Two points may be all that separated the sides at the final whistle, but Burt were more comfortable winners that the final margin suggests. Half-forward Niall Campbell scored 1-4 in the final and Clooney Gaels - who defeated Carey 3-14 to 2-12 in the Antrim intermediate decider - may have to watch the attacker closely.

Cuchulainn's (Armagh) v Bredagh (Down) Tomorrow, 3.30pm, Crossmaglen

AFTER defeat in the Armagh senior hurling championship last year, Cuchulainn's responded this year by beating Keady in a replay at the Athletic Grounds, with Declan Coulter (right) scoring 2-3 and Chris Coulter notching 0-8 for the city side. Bredagh have taken a step up to intermediate level after winning last year's Ulster Junior Championship. Bredagh's efforts in the All-Ireland hurling semi-finals, however, ended in defeat as they lost to Fullen Gaels by 1-12 to 1-4.
