A MAN wanted over the fatal stabbing of a man in Leeds may have traveled to the Republic of Ireland, police have said.

Emile Riggan (22) is one of two men wanted over the murder of Emmanuel Nyabako (19), who was stabbed in the Chapeltown area of Leeds on August 26.

It is believed he has traveled to the Republic by ferry.

The other man wanted in connection with Mr Nyabako's death is 29-year-old Louis Grant.

A 32-year-old man has appeared in court charged with Mr Nyabako's murder, while a 15-year-old male and a 34-year-old woman arrested in connection with the case remain on police bail.

West Yorkshire Police have issued an appeal to locate the two wanted men.

Detective Chief Inspector Damian Roebuck said: “We believe Louis Grant, who also goes by O’Brien, is active in the Sheffield area and that Emile Riggan travelled to the Republic of Ireland by ferry.

“We are conducting enquiries with partners in both locations and would ask anyone who can help us locate either man to contact the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team at West Yorkshire Police."

Anyone with information can contact the force on 101, quoting crime reference 13230475319.
