A PEDESTRIAN in her 60s has died following a collision involving a van in Co Donegal.
The collision happened in the Main Street area of Killybegs shortly before 5.45pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services arrived before the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital ahead of a post-mortem.
The road remained closed into Tuesday evening, with motorists diverted, as Garda forensic investigators worked at the scene.
A Gardaí spokesperson said the force was "appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward", adding they were "also appealing to those with camera footage, including dashcam from the area at the time" to contact them.
