SKY News confused viewers with an on-screen blunder in its coverage of Pope Francis arriving in Dublin.
A breaking news banner wrongly headlined the visit as 'Pope in England'.
Social media users quickly pointed out the mistake as the pontiff was shown disembarking from his flight at Dublin airport on Saturday morning and leaving to visit President Michael D Higgins.
One Twitter user posted: "@SkyNews thinks the pope is in England *insert eye roll here* #PopeInIreland", while another disappointed viewer tweeted "Sky News a little geographically challenged by the Pope's visit".
The broadcaster later compounded its error by captioning an interview with Daniel O'Donnell, who among those chosen to perform at the Festival of Families attended by the Pope at Croke Park on Saturday night, as an "onlooker".
Sky did not respond to a request for a comment.
