Multiple searches were carried out by police investigating drug dealing in counties Armagh and Down, with four people arrested.

Thirteen searches were conducted in the Armagh city, Banbridge and Craigavon district on Thursday by police along with support from other units of the PSNI, including tactical support, dog and safer transport teams. 

Inspector Adam Ruston said: “During the searches, over £22,000 worth of suspected drugs were seized during the proactive policing operations.

“Four people were arrested for drugs offences, one person was reported to the Public Prosecution Service."
