Hollywood star Sarah Jessica Parker loves a good pint of Guinness when visiting Ireland, especially at her favorite pub in Donegal.

While promoting her wine brand Invivo X on Instagram Live yesterday, the Sex and the City actress said she enjoys visiting The Rusty Mackerel in Teelin for a "gorgeous Guinness" whenever she's staying at her holiday home in nearby Kilcar.

"I can't have a pint, the tall guy, I'll never finish it," Parker said about her inability to drink a full pint.

"Part of me likes the ceremony of it and to see what each person pouring is doing to the top of it."

Parker went on to praise the pub, calling it "a beautiful pub" that's "pretty famous at this point."

The 58-year-old actress was speaking with Irish wine expert Kevin O'Callaghan about her new Invivo X, SJP wine collection launching in Supervalu stores across Ireland.

During the chat, she expressed her deep appreciation for Irish food and drink products she enjoys during her frequent summer holidays in Donegal with husband Matthew Broderick.

Parker said she loves Irish butter, potatoes, brown bread, cheese, and crisps.

She relies on the staff at the Supervalu in Donegal Town to let her know when gubbeen cheese arrives, which she says is the perfect pairing for her wines.

"Everybody in our parish has been famous for their basic vegetable soup, the one that you puree, it’s a very Irish thing to do, there’s always that in our house it’s a great snack for all of us," Parker also said about the homemade soup her husband Matthew often makes at their Kilcar cottage.

Parker's affection for Ireland is well-documented on her Instagram account, where she occasionally writes poetic odes to her west coast sanctuary away from the limelight.

"Photos really. They never quite capture it. And there is always more. And you should have SEEN it," Parker wrote this past July alongside photos of Irish groceries, tea by the beach, and tweed jackets.

She concluded the post: “Til next time. X, SJ.”

The Broderick family has owned their Donegal holiday home for decades, which Matthew inherited from his parents.
