Derry Ghouls: Thousands descend on city centre for Halloween celebrations

THOUSANDS of costumed revellers have lined the streets of Derry for the annual Halloween parade and fireworks display.

The event is billed as the biggest Halloween party anywhere in Europe, and Tuesday night's carnival was the culmination of four days of spooky celebrations in the city.

People of all ages joined in the fun as the carnival parade featuring colourful, creepy characters wound its way through the city centre.

Along with the traditional fireworks display to bring festivities to a close, the city was also treated to a spectacular drone show - the first of its kind in the north.
