Controversial Canadian author, psychologist and professor Jordan Peterson has announced he will bring his latest book tour to Belfast's SSE Arena on October 15.

Peterson rose to prominence throughout the 2010s for his often divisive views on hot button political, social and cultural topics.

His self-help book 12 Rules For Life, released in 2018, went on to become an international multi-million copy bestseller.

The professor, whose latest book is called 12 More Rules For Life, also has a successful podcast called The Jordan B Peterson Podcast where he shares his perspectives with listeners.

Earlier this year, his personal Twitter account was suspended for violating the platform's hateful conduct policies before being reinstated following Elon Musk's takeover.

The PSNI contacted Peterson in 2021 following the tragic death of 14-year-old Noah Donohoe, whose body was discovered in a Belfast storm drain after he went missing in June 2020.

A copy of Peterson's book 12 Rules for Life was found in Donohoe's backpack during the investigation into his disappearance and death.

Peterson denied any communication with the teenager through a spokesperson when contacted by The Sunday Independent.

Tickets for the Belfast date of the Beyond Order : 12 More Rules for Life  tour go on sale September 7, priced from £45 to £65 on Ticketmaster.
