Police investigating a double stabbing outside a village pub last weekend are seeking help finding a man.

The PSNI said Paul Hamilton (32) may be able to assist in the investigation into the stabbing of two men on the Carncullagh Road in Dervock just before 10pm on Sunday evening.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr Hamilton is asked to contact police.

Investigators earlier said "searches and inquiries are continuing" in relation to the stabbings in the village just north of Ballymoney. The suspect fled the scene and the two men were taken to hospital.

Detective Inspector Gareth Lavery said: "Apprehending the person responsible for stabbing two men following an altercation outside a Dervock bar is a priority for us.

"Our searches and enquiries are ongoing. I should add that we value the public's assistance to date and anyone with information is asked to contact us."
