THE funeral of a Co Tyrone father and popular member of the Errigal Ciaran GAA club will take place on Friday.
Shaun Conroy (49) from the Sixmilecross area died Suddenly on Tuesday, with his club suspending all activities as a mark of respect.
A family notice said he was a loving husband to his wife Caroline and father to Darragh, Caoimhe, Neil and Brian.
The funeral mass will take place at noon in St Mary's Church, Dunmoyle, on Friday with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
In a statement, his club said: "A family steeped in our tradition has been left devastated. They have lost such a loving father who idolised all his children, a husband - who always seemed to be at his happiest with Caroline at his side."
